CHIROPRACTOR

Bio

I know a thing or two about the challenges of balancing professional and personal lives. Having cofounded Healthworks Chiropractic in 2006 and building it into a successful business, we were able to turn our focus to growing our family. We have been blessed with two wonderful children.

However, as any new parent can tell you, your life quickly becomes centered around your children. I can definitely relate to the sacrifices many new mothers have to make during their children’s first few years. As such, I stepped away from practice for nearly four years.

When the time came for me to return to the clinic, I was faced with the challenge of rebuilding my professional experience and clinical skills. I wanted to get used to being back on my own feet. So rather than head straight back to our office, I took advantage of a great opportunity to practice in the Chinatown area of San Francisco.

This turned out to be a wonderful opportunity. Not only was it fulfilling to get back into practice, but the opportunity to work with immigrants helped me gain new insight and respect to the challenges people like my parents have gone through. Here these hard-working men and women have dedicated their lives to raising the quality of life for their children, often at the expense of their own bodies. Now that their children are grown they are finally turning attention to their own health.

Though I greatly enjoyed my time there, my San Francisco clinic was shut down during the Covid pandemic. With my children now full-time distance learning, I was once again at home caring for my children. Thankfully, the time to return to Healthworks Chiropractic finally came at the beginning of 2021 and I’ve been back in the office since.
